Orgasmic Meditation (OM) is a practice that combines the power and attention of meditation with the deeply human, deeply felt, and connected experience of orgasm.

What is OM?

A 15-minute, partnered consciousness practice where a stroker strokes the clitoris of a strokee for 15 minutes with no goal other than to feel sensation.

There’s an important distinction that’s worth making between climax and the orgasm state. Climax is a few seconds of physical experience, whereas the state of orgasm is continuous—allowing OMers to access an optimal state of consciousness brought about from the activation of the sex impulse.

When harnessed consciously, orgasm can enhance us as human beings. Science and experience agree – orgasm can incline people towards empathy, connection, and generosity. Orgasm magnifies, intensifies, and vivifies everyday experience not by altering it, but by revealing its true nature. The implications for our health, happiness, and relationships are astounding.

The Orgasm State

One of the key concepts of Orgasmic Meditation® is our redefinition of the word “Orgasm.” Everyone is familiar with Orgasm 1.0 - the brief moments of climax and release, signified by ejaculation in men and contractions of the vaginal muscles in women. Orgasm 1.0 is linear, progressive, and has a clear finale, followed by a drop in energy. You could say it builds a lot of energy and then spends it all, making you feel depleted afterwards. This is the orgasm that we are used to. It’s a striving to get to the end goal and it’s achievement oriented. This Orgasm State, or Orgasm 2.0, is different. It is goalless, intuitive, and dynamic. It may include climax, or it may not. In Orgasm 2.0, we learn to listen to what our body wants instead of what we think we “should” want. We let go of our ideas and trust our bodies. Orgasm 2.0 is a practice of gradually learning to tune into our body. As you cultivate the sensitivity of listening to your body, you start to let it lead and guide you in all areas of your life. As a result, you reorient from seeking achievement, to being led by your enjoyment of life.
